LOVE & THE FEAR OF BEING WISE
This short film encourages viewers to let go and allow themselves to love and be loved. The intention was to create something that had an ambiguous meaning. Inspire wanted the audience to be able to derive their own interpretation of the piece. Art is about stimulating the mind and that was the core intention.
FORBIDDEN FRUIT
This project displays a conniving snake and a deliberately oblivious Eve as they both face their addiction to attention. This concept was inspired by 'Social Dilemma' on Netflix. As humans we find a way to blame everyone but ourselves for our bad habits and addictions. Inspire put her own twist on the story of Adam and Eve to portray an internal battle. . It is quite impressive how we continue to CHOOSE the bad and then blame the bad for being bad.
LA-AAA-ADY CHALLENGE
20 women swarmed the streets of Downtown, Kingston. Filling the streets with a smile and rhythmic movement. The vision for this project was simple. It was about creating an atmosphere filled with smiles, unity and stepping away from all our doubts and fears. 20 women came together for a vision that they could all relate to in some way. It was nothing short of magical. For some it was their first time dancing and learning choreography.
WASTED ENERGY
When Inspire first heard this song she was quickly reminded of the constant battles we face in relationships. As a young woman she found herself going back to situations she knew were not meant for her. This piece was meant to display the internal battle we as lovers face. A battle between the mind and the heart.
