Inspire spent years exploring and discovering herself as a choreographer. She uses unique shapes, speed, textures and musicality as her main elements of choreography. It is an exploration of the pairing of unorthodox movement techniques with dancehall and reggae music.

A whopping 19 MILLION VIEWS for the very first music video she ever choreographed. A video that only features #inspirechoreography and freestyle dancing. She focused mainly on the HI hats for this choreography and was intentional about accentuating the female body without oversexualizing female movement. Even though the song says “back it up” and “fling it up”, she was creative with the interpretation of the lyrics. This choreography was widely received as the tutorial for it kickstarted a global dance challenge that spread across 35+ countries.

Inspire wanted to create something that would compliment Protoje and not require too much movement from him. D’Jango Jane was the reference given by the client, so she knew the project required a piece that was extremely clean and sharp. She kept the verse simple, since that segment would include Protoje. Then added a bit of complexity to the chorus which was filmed in various settings with just the dancers.

Dreams do come true! Inspire was honored to work with one of her childhood icons. What was more exciting for her was that the choreography was used as the grand finale of the video! Literal FIRE was blazing, as she danced amidst flames to produce a clean and captivating performance. A trio was used to pay homage to the likes of ‘We Be Burnin’ and ‘Temperature’.
